It is much faster, easier and stronger than twisting the wire. You can even use it on wire too rusty to twist. This heavy duty, 22 in. dual-purpose wire cutter/splice crimper has a lifetime manufacturer warranty. Attach a wire stretcher to the broken or stretched out wire to remove slack and cut out slack, or add new wire to provide about 1-1/2 in. overlap. Slip a Splice-It Splice (sold separately) over loose ends and crimp 4 times. Remove stretcher and you're done! Get years more life from your valuable fence! (Use only with Splice-It Splices.)
