Zareba 10 Mile Solar Low Impedance Fence Charger produces a safe shock on the fence line that effectively keeps horses, cattle, pigs, poultry and sheep as well as other livestock types contained. Ideal for remote locations without access to AC power. Use with electric fencing, including high tensile steel or aluminum wire, polywire, polyrope and polytape. It includes a 6-volt battery that, once fully charged maintains its charge for up to two weeks, even in cloudy conditions. The cabinet has a convenient carrying handle. Versatile mounting brackets allow for quick installation on any wood post, T-post, U-post, or the side of a building. Other features include easy-access terminals quick connections and installation; a rugged, weather resistant cabinet; controller OK indicator lamp; and a one-year warranty that includes damage caused by lightning. Distance rating of up to 10 miles is based on a single strand of steel wire in weed-free conditions. Multiple fence wires, weeds and wire type other than steel reduce the effective distance rating.
